Greetings! New Mavic Owner, not new to drones!

Whats going on everyone?

New owner here, finally pulled the trigger and am ditching my 3DR Solo. Really looking forward to portability/ease of use!

Of course I had problems right off the bat, during updating of the firmware my remote will no longer turn on! Wonderful. I know HOW to turn it on, but it shuts off immediately. I spoke with customer service already, ultimately they came to the conclusion of "needs repair".

Still flew it though via wifi!

I feel for you buddy, my mavic out of the box was doa because the gimbal was all wonky. Where did you buy it from? I got mine from b and h and it was a pain because i had to send it back to a 3rd party to "inspect" it before anyone would talk to me. Maybe taking the remote apart and unplugging the battery and replugging would work...just a guess. I wish you the best, let us know if you find a solution.
