Apologies for being quiet, been busy at work, and last weekend was the Grey Arrows Drone Club Big Meet, 47+ of us in a field flying drones - some were coming, but we had to get back for the pets, so it was 6 hrs driving and 8 hrs playing...

Wasn't sure if the video would be anyone else's cup of tea, but here you go anyway...

That looks like a great place to hold an event! Great turn out too. Looks like you had a close one @ :51 - fellow drone scooted across your drone's line of sight. Good on you for going through the hoops - although it did look like you were mowing the grass in the "croquet" arches.

Thanks, yeah, it was a cool day, a bit windy, but lots of fun.. A couple of close calls, but no drone-on-drone crashes... AVATA1 at low level is fun

All those drones in the air and no (as far as I could see) ATC! Glad a good day. Not many ladies as one might expect, have yet to get my Mrs enthralled! Well done to post a record of what seemed to have been a load of fun.

Thanks... ATC was about controlling the types of drone being flown and policing the TOAL spot, I think next year if it continues to expand we will need clear lines of exit and landing to keep from any conflicts... There were about 6 women there, 3 of us who fleww regularly and have A2, and 1 who is starting, and 2 wag's..

Thanks... just been mega busy finishing things off at work, on annual leave for 2 weeks as of finishing on Friday, and a week on Skye on the second week, lots of drone flying

Thanks, the drive is what it is, I am quite used to long drives, we have done Orkney - 502 miles - in one day before now - although I had a week on Orkney to recover before the 502 mile return trip the following Saturday
