Hi, new to the drone world.
I have a Mini 4 Pro and wondering if turning the drone on with the strap on it does any damage to the drone. I know the props move slightly when turned on. I want to take video indoors holding the drone and it would be easier if the strap was on.
Cheers Glenn

Short term? probably not, but it might be wise to power the drone up on a flat surface without a strap to establish a flat horizon then pick it up for your walking tour.

Bear in mind that hand-held, you'll get 'Z-axis' bob (the footage will show an up-and-down motion)... look up "ninja walk" which is a technique to minimize this

The real bugbear you'll encounter is overheating - no internal fans on the newer mini's.

Are you planning on doing a lot of recording like this? If so, something like the DJI Osmo Pocket might greatly simplify your workflow.

Those are some very good points, thank you
I'll check out ninja walk

I agree with @msinger, the Pocket 3 is better tool for the job.

The drones need air circulation, so you better be moving most of the time or you'll get overheat warnings.
