An absolutely stunning location, on a day with weather that was almost unbelievable - both of which made up for the drive to get here!

We drove up Wrynose and Hardknott Pass to get here, both roads I can only describe as the most extreme non off-road roads I have ever driven!

The fort is stunning, and the views, from Scafell Pike round to the Isle of Man were amazing, allowing for some pretty cool drone footage with the AIR3...

The walls of the fort must have taken forever to build. The Isle of Man and the great TT race, is on my bucket list.

Wondered where the AD posts were but looks like you were out and about to get another interesting and watchable clip.
Makes you wonder though how it would have been regarded 'back in the day' and we're seeing it on a good day too.

Thanks hon, yeah, a bleak place alright!

Apologies for the absence, the weather prevented any flights for 2 weekends, so nothing to post, but managed to get a couple of locations in the Lakes last Sunday, and its looking good for this weekend for some flying, at least on the Saturday... Off to Scotland in 3 weeks, so hoping to capture lots of footage then to set us up for a few weeks of posting regularly...
