I actually have noticed some improvement in the gimbal performance on mine. I was suffering from the strange horizon issues and after latest firmware update and a round of calibrating everything it seems to have improved. I'll take it out this afternoon for a more definitive answer.

The DYnamic range adjustment was first fixed with the P4P and rolled out to mavic. There are test results on the phantom pilots forum showing B4/After. I'm glad it's been rolled to the mavic.
This has no change to people with the "watercolor" issue. That's a completely different issue with resolution/clarity/etc.
