Has the download button disappeared from DJI's Fly app download page for Android ? All I see is a QR code and that isn't suitable for me as I wish to

download to a computer.
I was looking on the UL page
If you look and spot the thing can you take a screen capture, draw a blooming BIG RED arrow pointing to the button and attach the edited screen capture to your post please ?
Thanks.

doenload button?

Not sure what you mean. Download most likely?

DJI is recommending downloading it directly to your mobile device.

@Yorkshire_Pud yes, the download button has been hidden when browsing from some devices (like a Windows computer).

If you open that download page in a web browser on an Android device, you should see this view instead:

You were too quick, and beat me to my normal typo corrections lol.
I'd rather not download it directly to the phone and previously it has been possible to download it to computer. I am pretty certain that there used to be a download button, the vagueness being due to the fact that the porcess was so routine it hasn't stuck in my memory.

You can still do it from a computer if you browse the site via the web browser developer tools and change your device to an Android mobile device. For example, you can do that in Chrome like this:

cheers, I am currently trying to download to a HUDL2, which will not run the app, just to see where the download gets stored....... it turns out to be in the normal download folder.

I don't recall when it was changed, but it was something DJI did recently.

I have been able to download the DJI Fly (consumer) version from my browser (WaterFox - a branch from FireFox) to my Win10x64 Pro computer with no problems in the past.

With my machine down for service or replacement, I've recently tried to do the same on an Android 11 phone, & after trying numerable times, from the link from DJI with the QR code; when I try to open the download, I keep getting the same error message, something about some library missing.

After doing a bunch of rummaging on the interweb, it seems that DJI wrote that download to only work with phones using a 64 bit CPU.

Any more recent updates, or insights, on how that program might be used on 32 bit CPUs, or any workarounds without using geekese?

Thanks, but I tried both of those sources, too.

No dice, same error message; it was after both of those also failed, that I started rummaging for a solution - it seems a limitation with the Android app itself, from DJI.

I just tried the download link on the DJI website and had no problem. It downloaded normally.

There are similar links for other DJI models, but the app is the same for all. You might give this one a try.

The OP was trying to download it from the main downloads page.

But, that's a good point that it's available on other drone download pages as a dedicated link.

Assuming that you were downloading that for your phone, & assuming that you were able to not only download, but install it, & that it works properly, the last question I have is, what is your Android version, & is your phone's CPU operating on a 32 or 64 bit version?

The last part, seemed to be the rub, from the several forums I read, centered on having the same issues I've had.
