Heard from a fellow Mavic owner...

A few days ago I was chatting with a friend who purchased a Mavic about a month or so ago and he stated that a recent firmware release has some Mavic's falling out of the sky??
Anyone else hear something along these lines?
Unfortunately he was not in front of his PC at the time but stated he would gather the info.
I've not spoke to him recently but want to ask him again and get his resource.
That being said....
At one point I heard that DJI was real sticklers about supporting their birds if they were not up to the latest rev's, is this still the case?

There was a issue with the Spark falling out of the sky that was fixed by a mandatory upgrade

Nope. My Mavic has been flying just fine on the current firmware release.

Perhaps, DJI is QAing the kill switch?
