Since you've been flying for a little over a year, I assume you've taken the TRUST test?

It's a free, no fail test that's easy to take and you should keep a copy with you when you fly.

If you haven't taken it, here's a link.

Get your FAA TRUST Certificate of Completion to legally fly drones for recreational reasons in the United States.

Although the Mini's don't necessarily need to be registered with the FAA, if you add any accessories to the aircraft that pushes it past the 249 g limit then it will need to be registered.

I have taken the TRUST test ... and I am working on my 107. Both my drones are already registered with the FAA and marked with my FAA ID.
