Looks like a friendly place, so I thought I'd introduce myself.

A couple of years ago I messed around with cheap drones with cameras and found then hard to control, but fun. Main issue was the video wasn't that stable or high quality.

When they dropped the price of the Mavic Pro I succumbed to a Fly More kit and now I'm hooked. Where with a cheap drone I spent all my time trying just to keep it in a stable hover, the MP just sits there. The gimbal is rock solid and even at 4K the pictures look great.

Today I finally had the courage to fly over water and start trusting the RTH and FPV when, even though I should have been line of sight, I couldn't see where the drone was after looking down and then back up again!

I don't know if this link will work, but here is the best shot from today's adventure:

Welcome from Northamptonshire and Yorkshire too. You'd never know it but I do actually originate from Yorkshire, Scarborough born, but live in Northampton. Complete noob myself, currently seeking an app that allows me to control the weather so I can get flying. Had mine a week and got so fed up with the rain, I ultimately flew it in very light, fine rain but quit after 5 minutes of setting up and ten of flying as it slowly all started to get very wet :/
