You should try flying in Devonport from top of Mt Vic. Great flying spot and very little interference.

The South Island has so much potential for great photography, as Peter Jackson knows to well.
Just returned (to Australia) from a holiday there with the Mavic.

Hi Timoshenko. I'm in Dunedin. Recently back from a holiday in Tekapo which is a great spot for UAV footage. Where are you located?

To be honest I'm not sure of the restrictions. But as long as you stay away from the navy base and the ports I think it fine. I fly there often and have had no issues. All I know is there is a few airbases there such as the sea plane, westpac response helicopter and some other helicopter base there all by the ports.

Yaa i was thinking about the bases nearby. But i think i wont go that far i just want to capture the shrooms there. Haha
