Just found this forum and already it's answered some questions I'd been looking for for a few months.
I'm an experienced electric RC flyer but a drone novice, enjoying learning what they can do to record history - for the kids of today and tomorrow.

Hi Vuseum- welcome to the forum. Relatively new here myself. I will be down under in the Cairns/Port Douglas area with my Mavic mini in about 2 weeks. Any suggestions you have regarding flying down under in compliance with local regulations?. I s there a process to request permits upfront in certain areas? Hearing that CASA will introduce new rules in 2020 but in the meantime anything you suggest? Thanks!
