Hi All,
I bought a £100 Holystone drone 7 months ago just to see what all the drone stuff was all about, and although I got on with it pretty well, I was a bit disappointed with its (so called) 1080p camera, so thought I'd try my hand at something who's camera was a bit better.
To that end after a little research, I bought Mavic2 Zoom & have just been out taking some pics of the floods we're presently having on the river Severn in Shropshire.
This was a 180 deg pan which I thought looked more interesting when re-aspected to 3:2.
As you can probably guess, my first impressions were pretty good - although I'll have to revisit when the suns moved around a bit

Thanks for the welcomes - Think I'm going to be reading & watching a lot of the tuition info & videos on here before I do anything more advanced than taking simple shots.
Here's my first stupid question (to which I already think the answer is "No") - The Holystone had a nice "Headless Mode" feature which made some aspects of the flying real easy for a beginner.
Am I right in thinking the Mavic doesn't have such a mode, or does it go by another name?

Welcome to Mavic Pilots! :) Enjoy the forum!Thumbswayup

Hello and WELCOME to the forum :)

I even know where you were standing when you took that photo or were you sitting on the bench? Your next challenge is to fly under the Ironbridge but with water levels as high as they are at the moment that would be a bit risky. Welcome to flying in Salop
And there was me thinking it would be breaking some CAA rule if I flew under the bridge :)
Don't suppose you've got any footage for me to learn from - I'm guessing a decent place to take off from would be 'museum of the gorge' car park - rear side facing bridge
<EDIT> Think its a bit wet at the moment
