I have a new Mavic Mini and a Great Call Jitterbug2 phone.
As far as I can determine, the phone is apparently an Alcatel A30 Plus using Nougat 7.0. The phone is not on either list for know compatibility or not compatible. Does anyone have experience using this phone? It connects briefly with the drone, all info (including camera view) shows on the screen, then the app cuts out.
DJI support is not available on the weekend, so was hoping someone may have an answer?
Thanks, craigj (am a non-tech person)

Hello from the Hoosier Heartland craigj.

Here is a list of compatible devices that work comprised by drone flyers.

If you do have to upgrade, this may help in making a decision.

Good luck and welcome to the Forum.

Wow, that is quite a bit more extensive listing that on the DJI site! Thanks MA2 317.

I love Tahoe. ❄️

I think the focus should be on is the "DJI app" to fly your Mavic Mini which should by Dji Fly according to page 5 of the getting started manual - Mavic_Mini_Quick_Start_Guide.pdf (djicdn.com) is compatible with your camera phone.

Thank you, Black Raven. I did the firmware update when first connecting but it did not ask to update the drone, so did both with direct cp connection with the Assistant2 app. Will try uninstalling the DJI Fly app and downloading again.

Honestly, Craig, I had the cell phone/remote combo thing for about 2 to 3 months at 1st, before I realized (just to cut to the chase) that number one it felt too mickey mouse in my hands. Albeit, we're speaking about a Mavic Mini here which is a impressive drone from head to tail. I went to the Mavic Air 2 because I'm nuts in that way if you know me and as such with the DJI smart controller safely in hand as a complete unit there's very less uncertainty for failure if none at all.

Good luck...
