New owner of a DJI Mavic, spent most of last night learning the drone, playing on the simulator and researching.

Unfortunately have work most this week so may not get chance to use it until the weekend but i'm eager.

Sheffield on the edge of the Peak District. Already got quite a few places in mind once i've got the hang of it.

Had the motors on briefly yesterday and it made me realise it's most definitely not a toy drone... Looking forward to getting it out in the open space and up some hills/peaks

Ah you have some hills to play with then. A bit flat where I am but still plenty of scenery.

It's not a toy but it pretty much flies itself. Just find a nice big empty field for your first time and stay close!
