I'm flying a Mavic Air 2 and a Mavic Mini. Prior to those I flew a couple of the cheaper drones that are good in their own ways but let's just say aerial photography was not their strong suit. Despite the fact that it's very light, I find I like the mini for more close-quarters inspections when the wind isn't too much of a factor. I am still learning the Mavic Air 2's capabilities and am finding it to be superb for higher quality aerial photography. RAW mode photos are a big plus! I'm planning to do a lot more photographic work with it soon!

Anyway, it's great to meet all of you here!

My first was a Contixo F18. Not a DJI, but I was still getting my feet wet so it wasn't expensive and it did the trick.

Greetings from an M2P pilot in the DFW area!

Both the Mini and the MA2 are superb machines. I flew my friend's Mini for about 5 minutes, and was very impressed. He enjoys flying it more than his larger birds (he has several, the lucky dog).

I'm retired SWA, so I travel for free. Some weekend after COVID19 is behind us, I'd like to hop down to Austin and meet up with you guys for some flyin'!

Welcome fellow Texan and hello from the Houston (Humble) area, I also have a mini and a Air 2 love them both but Air is getting all the love. Flying a locked course hyperlapse as we speak of Houston in the distance with clouds and blue sky.
