Sorry meant to say . I'm in the UK

Oops. 🤭

Another form of a sticker is to create a simple word file on a computer and then place that file on the SD Card of the drone if available.

If you lose your drone and it spends time in the elements, stickers may wear out and be unable to read.

The information should be retained on the card should somebody find it.

Just don't format the card while in the drone as this will erase the information.

.

Labels from my labeler I adhered to our gate keypad five years ago, have withstood rain, heat, cold. snow, wind, dust etc. etc. 24/7 and have not budged, faded or impacted in any way. I use labels from the same labler for my dones.

Thanks a lot for welcome note, for good advice.
I am a new certified pilot, but I am aware that I have to learn a lot, and I am considered myself as a beginner.
Thanks to all for yours welcoming.
I am active on several web sites and one of them is the Pilots Institute web site Community and I am amazed at the number of new pilots who have just gotten their Part 107 Certification and have never flown. If you also intend to fly for fun, especially with a sub-250 drone (no RID required) then you will also need to hold a TRUST Certificate on your person… The Part 107 does not fill the requirement.

Putting your information onto the MicroSD card is all well and good, but if the finder does not look at the card or just looks at the photos, then putting a label, with your phone number on the outside of the drone is sure way to get the information to the finder... Even if you just magic marker it on...
