Negative. But, I did easily remove the two part grips from each side of the handles with a #6 Torx (think that's the size). I then removed about half of the thickness on the top pieces only. The bottom pieces are built in a good pattern for a sloping back edge of tablet edges. I first used a razor blade but found that tedious as the rubber is very sticky/resilient. I switched to a very sharp pair of suture scissors (thin blades) and it went very well. Now my tablet slides in easily, and holds very well.
