So I just purchased a MP and have a Samsung galaxy S8 plus phone which it says is not compatible with DJI go 4 App so I am using a WiFi Apple Ipad mini.

If I lose the drone and want to use the find my drone app do I need to use a device with LTE /4G service or can I use the Mini? If that is the case is it possible to send the log to a phone and use the app from that device?

Thanks in advance
Steve

No. However, you will need to cache the maps in DJI GO like this so you can see the map in DJI GO. The last recorded location of your Mavic is taken from the Mavic's internal GPS receiver and sent back to your mobile device.

DJI GO stores the TXT flight logs on your mobile device. You can retrieve those TXT files like this. In addition to my log viewer, you can also use these tools to read the TXT flight logs.
