help wanted: MINI SE will not pair

I had a mini 2 which was flying fine using iPhone or iPad and DJI RC. I had a bad crash and got a mini SE.
I searched the forum and web and cannot fine a solution or trouble shooting steps. Can someone give me a hand with this? I'm grounded until I can get the mini2 to pair.

The DJI Mini 2 used a transmission system called OcuSync 2.0. The DJI Mini SE, however, was built using an older Enhanced Wi-Fi transmission system.
