Help with warranty.. software - Glitch

help, while flying my drone "new" mini 2 less then 6 miles on it. While using DJI fly . When I started my landing in the middle of it about 100 ft . DJI fly stopped. And My rainbow pro program started. My drone lost it's mind headed for a tree branch I quickly shut down as it dropped and broke my gimble can anyone tell me if my warranty will would cover this technically it was a software issue plz help ... Just starting to love my mini 2 .. drats .. p.s I am a certified 107 pilot. If so how do I have it done.

Well, first post the flight logs so we can look at them, and then try to help decipher what happened. You'll need these for DJI when you toss a claim at them for your AC. You'll find instructions here in the forum via a search.

Shutting down other flight apps is always recommended. They are running in the background and can interfere with the one in operation.. while also using up needed cpu power.

Flight logs should offer a solution/answer

This one will be a little more complicated because if the app stopped, the log probably stopped with it.
Since from the description it seems like Rainbow was controlling the flight at the time of the crash, you'll get no help from DJI if that was actually the case, they won't warranty anything with 3rd party apps.

Apps don't just "start" on their own, either it was started or was already running and kicked into the foreground when it detected the drone.

Good luck with getting it taking care of. Post any logs you have, and people can see if they can help.
