Went to fly drone switched everything on and drone won't connect to controller. Went and refreshed firmware using DJI assistant 2 on both drone and controller. Started her up again, ran firmware update on app then drone still won't connect or pair with controller. Spent 3 hours on this about to jump off a tall building. Can't fly , don't know why any ideas please.

How far do you get with either of the linking processes ?

After last firmware update, my mini couldn't connect to remote...until I discovered that the connector between the remote and my iPad was not fully seated at the remote end. I blamed it on me having a "senior moment".

Senior moment?? @Guitarzan , it looks like you and I are due for a more up to date avatar photo... but I actually look quite similar now to my baby pic, just as fat, same amount of hair...

Would ask me to pair, I'd go thru the process and it would time out at 60seconds asking me to check drone was on and that I'd completed the pairing procedure correctly.

Problem solved!!
Not a clue why this would make a difference but I took the SD card out of the drone. The app then asked me to update firmware then drone now works fine. But when I replace SD card problem returned. So tried different SD card, all works fine . Lastly formatted original SD card and now all fine ????????
