I was stationed at Luke AFB, Goodyear, AZ (West of Phoenix) in the early '70s and at Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson, in the late '90s. I found that the many service folks from all over the country had problems these places too: Gila Bend, Fort Huachuca, Nogales, Mogollon Rim, Canyon de Chelly, Piestewa Peak, and local stuff like: Cholla, Saguaro, Ocotillo, and so much more…

And do not get me started on Native American names like Tohono O'odham…

I was also at DM. 1991 to 1998.

And just when you thought you had the Spanglish figured out, a name word turn out to be Native American.
