Hi
I built my first UAV quadcopter around 2011 out of two 6” angle grinder blades as the frame, 4 pieces of aluminium, and the diy drones flight board. Flew 6kms across French countryside with a GoPro fully autonomous without live video. Just by plotting points on the mission planner software and uploading it to the board. Years on I’m in New Zealand and can’t believe how commercial drones have come since then. Only the other day I was shown the Mavic 2 air and was very impressed. No real point in upgrading the drone I built as these are overtaking the tech that I can add especially flight times and live video quality. So now I’ve joined here so I can gather your experiences and advice
