Re: Places to fly, in Bexar County and S. Central Tx.
Searching around online revealed the Central Texas Drone User Group
which likely had all or most drone-friendly locations identified. However
according to their webmaster, the user group was being shut down last
September,

... I am currently in the process of shutting down the Central Texas Drone Users Group due to lack of time to devote to managing it and hosting events....

and so, there goes a great resource on drone-friendly locations.
