I took the big plunge and bought a new upper power board, a flat ribbon cable, GPS/Compass #1 unit , heat sink fan, right front foot, and upper cover. After a few hours of reconstruction, botta bioom, botta bing, i'm back in the air.

Bought a $7 soldering iron at Walmart. Spent some time price shopping on Ebay. Ended up fixing my Mavic Pro Platinum for $325; DJI was going to charge me $1075... those stinkers :D

I have to say, given that my drone was a complete basket case, I was actually surprised the darn thing flew LOL

I’m going to have to say that working on the Mavic Pro is not only an easy process but the darn drone itself is quite resilient giving its frame.

I dropped of the sky from 350 feen into a hay field and only suffered one arm breaking off. I’ve worked on this thing so much that I just made a part to hold The arm in place and off I go again.

My first crash scared the crap out of me. Now some 50 crashed later, it’s just part of flying the limits.
