Hello,

Im new user of Mavic 2 Pro. I took it to my first test shots today as weather was acceptable.
I flew over my home town to take some testing.
After downloading material form my SD card I was supried and shocked when I saw weird horizontal and bent lines across my pictures. Sometimes straight, sometimes bent. And at different heights of my pictures.

I save both DNG and JPG files. JPGs look fine, problems are only with DNG. And not at all pictures. Most of them have those lines (sometimes one, sometimes two).

Does anybody met something like that?

Here are two pictures. First one is from JPG without any problems and second one is from DNG where you can see those weird things.

Regards
Przemek

Huh

Im rather sure - those arent power lines. I thought about it at first, when I saw it. But there arent any power lines nearby.
Here is another one from ground level - this time straight line and only one.

Hm... very weird! The only thing I could imagine is some sort of „line-skipping“ while saving the DNG. The JPGs are smaller in size, so maybe, there is enough write-speed to save.

Did you save the footage on a microSD card or on the drone’s internal storage?

Are videos also corrupt in any way? Not playable at all or do they stutter on playback?

I took only few pictures after purchase - to internal memory - maybe 5 or 6 - they seem to be ok.
Then I put Sandisk Extreme 64 GB V30 A2 into M2P
I didn record any video. I will try to test it

I don't recall specs but did you get the sd-card from a reliable source? There are apps/programs that can test the speed or whether the card is legitimate.

Yes. I had the same experience, that‘s why I asked. My „very fast“ microSD from wish.com was in reality very very very slow. So maybe an old one with a new print on it.

@yorgil if the microSD is genuine and doesn’t have any errors it’s I/O speeds should be more than sufficient and not a cause for the black lines

I found a similar problem on the adobe forum: Pink(Magenta) lines on all Photographs(Raw) | Adobe Community

Of course, here we have a magenta line, but also a line with missing information along the complete picture.

Like you see in the post there, it could also be a problem with a faulty transfer to your pc.

Maybe you transfer the files again, maybe with a microSD card reader, or if you did that before, you leave the card in the drone, hook it up via USB cable to your pc and transfer the images from the mounted card.

Thank you very much for your involvement.
I have formated my SD card at low level (with removing partition etc), then quick formated it from DJI GO app.
I also used my old, trusty HAMA card reader (I had to use adapter to transfer from micro card)

I just returned form testing session. 4 videos - any problems, lines, etc.
I also took some (20) pictures. Therer arent any lines too.
Weather is dull in Poland today , so there are only little contrasts (not difficult conditions for camera). I have to test it again in full sun, with huge tonal range.
But for now I can suppose that there was problem with transfering files (yesterday i used new card reader with micro slot) or with SD card - maybe some incompability with Mavic? (I bought this card at Mediamarkt, so I hope it is original one...).
