While doing seasonal Waypoint shots with my Mavic 3 Pro Cine & the RC PRO remote control I received a warning banner that I was running out of internal storage, I can't recall the exact wording.

I would appreciate advice on what I need to do here with presumably making more storage available without deleting something important such as my waypoint history, heaven forbid . I have now backed the Waypoint history up via the Micro CD card and copied this onto an external drive.

Here is a frame grab of my current RC Pro Remote's internal storage and the 60GB micro SD card. When I highlight the Micro SD card storage it’s asking if I want to' migrate 7GB to new storage’, which itself seems pretty full currently with only 10GB remaining. I thought I had originally set things up to automatically migrate excess data to the micro SD card, but perhaps this instruction was stopped with ejecting the micro SD card at some point. I’m not sure exactly what data is stored and reserved internally and what is stored on the micro SD card ? The waypoint history I see was internally stored and not on the micro CD card.

I’m just working out what data I should keep or delete and how I go about doing this ? My flight history is useful and is my album with the low res video clips for references purposes, but it’s certainly not essential to keep all of it. I presume there is a local cache that can be deleted which I would not miss. I gather the RC pro internal storage is 32GB with 11GB available for 'day to day files', however the storage in the attached pic indicates I have used 18.1GB out of 19.9GB which is confusing.

Could I simply get another or bigger micro SD card and keep on migrating the data ?

Any recommendations or advice on storage housekeeping would be most welcome please ?

Very strange, I've never used any of this and in fact, have never seen any of it. Not sure what this is all about except maybe it has something to do with the Cine version and its unique storage or the super large files. Either way, memory cards are super cheap and in 2025, there's no good reason not to have at least a 256gb card but even better 512gb. At this point, I have been updated all of my controller/goggles cards to 1TB or 1.5TB to get a close to perpetual storage as I can.

I gather with the Mavic 3 Pro Cine the biggest Micro SD card you can use to dovetail with internal storage is 128 GB

This is the preferred 256gb card recommended by DJI for the Mavic 3 Pro Cine and I'm pretty sure the 512gb will work as well (at least it works with my Mavic 3 Pro non-Cine). These cards can be had for under US$30 and US$40 respectively.
