If I read this right you shot the first one with the new M3? If so I would be very disappointed with the softness and noise. Is that a tight crop? What ISO were you using? I would think a sunset like that would be bright enough to stick with 100.

I wish that taking good photos could make us fabulous, but I'm afraid that's not the way it works! ;)

Correct on M3, I was using the 7x zoom on it with ISO 380 (was on auto) and its edited above.

Picture was already grainy on it from the zoom unfortunately but doesn't stop it from being a cool pic but to me looks better edited like it was.

This is how far I was out shooting auto as well no Zoom.

nice pics. What part of the houston area are you in? Im just south in Pearland
North Side right out of the beltway and close enough I have to ask for LANC to fly in class b but at 400 feet. Not too far away we start going down to 300, 200, 0 etc. Why I get lots of planes taking off shots (about 20 of them do a night) lol. dji_export_1638488262816-01.jpeg
