Same drone as mine flies to top of Everest ! They must have used special high lift props https://youtu.be/csDriucITDE?si=81IhuV02k6_RB5nS

As a pilot and Captain on corporate jets for past 30 years now not ! with lots of Piston Twin Time previously I was etaggered to see a mavic climbing to the top of Everest ! I always thought the service ceiling of the air 3 was 18000 feet and wonder how they did this ?
I presume some special high lift props and a way of keeping the batteries warm ? -50 c at 29000 feet
Anyone know how rhe Drone used was modified from the original ?

Thanks

Peter

Most props wont go that high , The TBM single Turbo prop will go to FL330 and the Piaggio Avanti twin the same both with special props and Turbines

There is another video of Chinese climbers actually launching a Mavic 3 from the summit of Mt. Everest, and the drone reached 9232,86 meters, that is nearly 400 meters above the top of Everest!
I suppose they somehow prevented the batteries from freezing during the climbing to the top, but during the flight they should not need extra heating. And maybe the drone had special propellers, but otherwise it looks like a stock Mavic 3.
