Recently I read some news about DJI deploying drones to help combat the Coronavirus from getting expansive. I thought it would be meaningful to share the stories here as sometimes drones can really become life-saving tools.
Disinfection
DJI has sent a volunteer team to disinfect the main villages and has finished the task in just 4 days. Agricultural drone T20 is mainly used to complete the task. Overall, after 4 days’ work, DJI has spread the disinfectants over 400 MILLION square meters, covering over thousands of villages.
Dispersing public gatherings and unsafe behavior
DJI is also deploying Mavic 2 enterprise to warn people of unsafe behaviors. Some professional drones are equipped with loudspeakers to warn people who walk about in public places without wearing masks.

Temprature measurement
As person-to-person transmission is confirmed, remote temperature management for residents in communities become a safe way. Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual are mainly used for temperature measurement here, as the thermal sensors in the drone can measure temperature, protecting the community staff from exposing themselves to the crowds.
Not sure if the result will be 100%accurate, but it seems like a pretty smart and safe way during epidemics.
