Hello guys, I saw many posts related to REMOTE_ID how it is working on DH MAVIC 3. So there is a away to disable it, actually not to enable it in first place. So I will write down some steps how to do it. You may ask how I know when REMOTE_ID is enabled or when disabled - I have a special tool for that and I can monitor in real time when drone starts to transmit REMOTE_ID (RIDxxxxxxxxxx). This works on 1000 version. I did not try 1100.

1. Turn on your Drone and RC.
2. Now in the FLY APP, go into settings (three dots ...) >>> About >>> Name >>> enter: gps off and press OK. You will see satellites goes RED color. From now drone will stay forever in this mode. To enable GPS (together with REMOTE_ID) you need to enter: gps on.
3. Now after GPS OFF command was entered for the first time, you must restart the Drone and RC, remove battery for few sec aswell. IF you wont restart REMOTE_ID will still be broadcasted.
4. After restart REMOTE_ID is disabled, you will never see RIDxxxxxxxxxx transmitted. You can start your engines and fly away!

Thats it, it works 100% I tested many times, REMOTE_ID is disabled. You need to understand that with GPS OFF command drone will not be able to RTH (Return To Home). So in this case I would recommend to leave drone in HOVER mode and enter new command: lost_1000. With this command in hover mode if signal is lost drone will rise to 1000 meters so you can retain the signal. And it can be very tricky to fly this drone in GPS OFF mode because it enters to ATTI mode and wind will blown this drone away. If you gonna see you lose the control of the drone just enter command GPS ON and it will exit atti mode (REMOTE_ID enables)

ENJOY!

1. This is the most important. You must be indoors deep inside the house or in the basement so that drone will not connect to satellites.
2. Start the RC first, wait untill it loads up fully.
3. Start the MAVIC 3 drone. Important! Make sure to start it on NORMAL or SPORT mode. DO NOT START it CINE mode (GPS off mode).
4. When drone starts (engine off) and you can see the view in the RC - instantly turn it to CINE mode (GPS_OFF). So the thing there is that the drone will not see satellites and when you switch it to CINE mode it will never wants to connect to them.
5. You still need to be at home. Start the engine, dont fly yet.
6. Now with engines started carefully take your drone outside, put it on the ground and you can launch it and fly it!

Thats it, it works 100% I tested many times, REMOTE_ID is disabled. But what you need to know if you ever change the mode to normal or sport drone during the flight it will instantly enables REMOTE_ID (it takes like 5sec to fully load satellites untill it gets white color, around ~18) and even you go back to cine mode it will disable REMOTE_ID for few sec but then it enables again. In such case you need to turn off RC and the drone, remove the battery, go inside home again and start all over again.

ENJOY!
So to keep RID off, you can only fly in Cine mode? That's quite a limitation!

Im testing another version right know. I think its possible to fly in sport mode aswell. I will update post if its 100% good
I'm sure the Ukranians have it already figured out!
At the very least, early versions of the Mavic 3 with unupdated FW never broadcasted RID in the first place, so nothing needs to be changed to keep it off in any mode, as they were manufactured before the RID requirement from the manufacturer.

hi, ive read several threads on this and i have my mavic3 with with dh , personally i dont care for drone or remote id but one of my close friends needs this , now it seems according to what i read earlier the dh disables drone broadcast of its every detail to aeroscope only in europe!! every where else it behaves like any other drone by dji broadcasting its type location home or pilot point...
now the gps off in cine mode disables location or gives 0 sat as a message sent out by the broadcast ( at least it masks this i dont know if it transmits the pilot location!!??? if he holds an rc1 with gps built in-- correct me on this), the big question if u like to share is (by which method) how did u mask the location on normal and sport modes??

I Dont know about aeroscope and europe. But I read some russians telegrams that they say even if drone id is disabled its still transmits pilot location. All RC's with screens have built in GPS.

So I did more tests with REMOTE_ID, RC fly app makes the difference.
MAVIC 3 DH 1000
RC firmware 01.03.0500
App version: 1.11.4
With this RC, drone transmits RID despite GPS OFF command. It transmits RID indoors with 0 satellites aswell.
-------------------
MAVIC 3 DH 1000
RC PRO firmware 03.02.0400
App version: 1.12.4
With this RC PRO, drone never transmits RID indoors and never after "gps off" (not "gps_off") command was entered and restarted.

great to share this , it seems there is a combination to follow by those interested in getting rid of drone id and remote id (out of US.ill pass those texts to my friend going after this it may be very helpful .

Did more tests. Reflashed RC PRO to very old firmware 2023.04.25 and REMOTE ID gone forever in all modes. Never appears! But weirdly gps off / gps on command doesnt work anymore same as led off / led on. Probably too old firmware. Then I tried this RC PRO with mini3pro drone which was transmitting RID, it stopped aswell.

MAVIC 3 DH 1000
RC PRO firmware 03.02.0100
App version: 1.12.4
With this RC PRO version drone stopped to transmit RID completely. So clearly its the RC firmware versions that makes the difference.

So my RC PRO had FCC hack aswell, since RC PRO downgrade, FCC hack was removed automatically. And now even 0400 version stopped transmit RID completely. Never appears. But about>name>commands doesnt work anymore

I have had the hardest time going backwards on the RC Pro firmware. How did you manage to flash an older version? It seems to be blocked even with the drone hacks site and DJI Assistant is certainly no help. Very interested to hear if you found something that works for going backwards on its FW!

All depends on ARB (anti roll back) number, if your current firmware version has higher ARB number than previous version you will NOT be able to roll black.

Thank you Thom-adams. I was really hoping that wasn't the case and that someone had found a way to get around the anti roll back on these finally. It seems mine is just 1 version too high and now I'm locked in.

Has anyone else here been able to get around the anti roll back on the RC Pro to revert to a slightly older FW? I would imagine if someone got Dumldore to recognize the controller, it would be possible to reflash. Or maybe someone has used Sincoder's FCC hack to gain access in order to roll the FW back? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated if anyone has ideas or has actually done it. Hoping to hear back from someone!

So nobody has been able to root or get a bit more control over the RC Pro yet? Help please!
