How to fix Auto-Exposure in post prod?

Hi all,

I am new here and got my MP a month or so (yeah I know, too bad, missed the platinum edition...).
Unfortunately, i put auto exposure on and have some expo changes on my footage.
Is there a way to fix this in post prod?
Or a way to modify frame by frame?

Thanks Lisa. But I think what it is suggested here will change the whole footage. My issue is that my footage is more overexposed in some part and under exposed is other. It is not linear. And so, I would need some think that can uniformise the exposure on the whole.

You're not asking to modify exposure between shots, but within a singular shot... correct? If that's the case, all you need to do is learn to use keyframes. The program will do the rest. Here's directions for how to do that. Combine it with the above-cited exposure effect:
