My *guess* is yes, but you might want to just stand by for a little bit; there's some indication from the NLD guys and others that mods may be possible up through the newest firmware versions. Maybe. But if you're trapped with 1.04.0100 now, I think you should be able to downgrade to 1.04.0000 and at least unshackle yourself from the anti-rollback nonsense.

So unless you've got a pressing reason to downgrade now, hang in there to see what becomes possible for you without having to mod your hardware and void your warranty.

I'm on .700 but interested in the goggles improvements and maybe even the Quickshots, but don't want to step into a bear trap or give up precision RTH, so I'm sitting tight and watching to see what shakes out of the New Years' gifts.

Its @jezzab & @jcase that have done the hard work

Without an SD card you can only use 1.3.1000, 1.4.0000 or 1.4.0100 at the moment

As @PT_Mavic said people are currently working on changing that

Hi, I tried to make it as direct as possible, but for those that havent used java jars directly before it might not be so direct.

the program is DUMLRacer.jar, you launch it with java like - java -jar DUMLRacer.jar

It takes on arg, either AC or RC, AC for drone, RC for remote.

When running, it will ask you to select the port for your drone.

Then it will do it's magic.

or if you were asking for specifics, I left it fully open source

Set directory to where you have put DUMLrace.jar
I put DUMLrace in c:\ for easiness so just CD.. to go upto c:\
java -jar DUMLRacer.jar AC (for aircraft)
java -jar DUMLRacer.jar RC (for remote)

DUMLdore v2.12
Downgrading from V1.4.0100:

Choose new jcase anti-rollback method
Wait for it to defeat it (may take up to a couple of minutes)
Normal start flashing dialog will show
Upgrade will begin
Close DUMLdore
Check with Assistant2

After the upgrade Assistant2 will probably show the firmware as:
1.4.0100-

It has downgraded but some modules were skipped
Close Assistant2
Start DUMLdore and flash as per usual
Say NO to new rollback method (we dont need to do that now we can just do it the old way)
Normal start flashing dialog will show
Upgrade will begin
Close DUMLdore
Check with Assistant2 (it will be a much faster flash than before)
Upgrade will complete and show the correct firmware

Halow, by “upgrade” do you mean “downgrade” (reduce FW version number)?

If you are referencing the post above, its copied & pasted

As with most things, its expected that you will only install newer versions not older so the process is typically called updating / upgrading

I personally dislike the term upgrading in this sense as it suggests that you will get more which isn't always the case, to me its an updating, installing the latest

DUMLRacer is a tad iffy atm, but not dangerous. It will get better

I'm really new to drones and this weird setup DJI is using, and I havent tested it much at all. It does work, probably most solid on osx, but ive got reports of it working on windows from Haloweenhamser

is it working with mac??how thnx
