Same with cars, motorcycles, boats and other such "things". People can herd them around but when "IT" hits the fan they aren't prepared. I think we are singing out of the same song book.

You might want to invest in a second battery

Thanks for the suggestion. I just pulled the trigger on a new Black Hubsan H501s with the upgraded RC that uses the Lipo (or whatever), and a second AC battery. I got it for a very good price. The good thing is I can switch it to ATTI mode in flight. If things get hairy I don't know if I can get it back in GPS mode easily.

We have a LOT of wind here; some as high as 40 - 45 with gusts over 60. good training ground
