For some reason, I have become the person who is known to accept drone junk from tourists who have lost their drones. Today, a very nice Central European person hand delivered her remaining MM accessories to me. So far, during the last ~2 years, I have now experienced 6 such incidents...

100% of the drones sunk into water (5 into the South China Sea, 1 into the Mekong River, Can Tho area)....
0% recovered
All spare batteries were dead, and unable to be used safely (even the MM!)
0% of operators were willing to allow me to capture any flight logs from their mobile devices.
