I think I've found the perfect lanyard/camera strap for the Mavic Pro remote

Found this camera strap on eBay last week and I've used it three times now. It works perfectly, holding the remote just at my waist and there's room to hang lower (I'm 6'2" for reference). OPTECH is a well respected camera strap accessories company among professional photographers. There are additional extensions and clip systems available if you need any info, feel free to ask.

I like this a lot !! :)

Thanks, it works fantastic... The odd thing is, I have lots of camera gear, including several straps. This one is the only one I found that was small at the ends that connect. All my other ones have connectors that are about twice the size. As you can see, the small loops allow you to close the remote completely.

Your post gave me the idea to search on amazon and I found this one: https://www.amazon.com/CHMETE-Speci...57338&sr=8-1&keywords=CHMETE+Specially+Design.
They have other colors. I like this one because the strap is pretty narrow.

That's a dime on the strap just for comparison. You can also disconnect the lanyard and the connectors attached to the rc can be stowed away inside the rc arms. Thanks for the idea LakeTravis.

I think yours would work just as well. The only reason I chose the one I did, several professional photographers I know use that brand, I've had several others of them myself and have always been pleased. The one I bought is pretty thin compared to "Pro Level" OP/TECH straps. They also have a very good non-slip padding on the inner side of the strap. But the both should do the trick.

This strap was just delivered and it perfect!! Thanks for the link.

Great idea.

By the way, you can do this with the strap that comes with the DJI Mavic bag. It's not as good (has a tendency to get twisted), but it works.

I loved the quick disconnect idea this strap the Op posted but I wanted to just use what I already had on hand. So I took a binocular strap I had laying around I had never used. Ran the loops through the holes in the remote handles and then pushed the loop over the top of the remote handle. Holds the remote then comes right back off completely.

Fundamentally the same concept, without the quick disconnect clips. Great idea, and you sure can't beat the price! Thumbswayup

Hi y’all. Love this site. Thank you everyone who contributes.
New mpp pilot here. I hope to have an iPad mini 2 or one more current down the road.
Any concerns about the strap putting stress on the handles?
The extra weight of the mini might put too much strain on the handles?
Any other options out there? I do see some that touch your screen when you let the RC just hang down.
Not sure I’m making sense so will stop now.
Thanks again and all the best to you and yours!

Thank you sir!
