It’s an appropriate question. I’ve seen a couple of light house in my region of Lake Michigan with “no drones” signs posted. Probably because they are in a state park. The Frankfort Harbor has no such signs, is outside of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and luckily is not near a major airport. I fly from a public viewing lot, high on a bluff accessible from Elberta.

Interesting shapes the ice forms in the sea. Looks like life rafts or donuts. At ground level you would never see the dance of the ice flows as the waves move past. Its neat to see the ice dance from overhead.

Thanks. It’s really difficult to take videos of snow & ice. I’m still struggling to get it right. Maybe I should move to Florida.
