We use the new DJI Terra API for cloud-based processing of LIDAR and Image data to 3D meshes or point clouds to create a scan > digital twin solution. Works great but we have a couple of issues and are a little new to the DJI tools and hoping this forum may assist.
We have customers who want to solve a couple of issues.
We don't seem to get useful replies from DJI support on these questions yet and hoping someone here may have an idea.
1. Does anyone know of a solution for interior scanning that is better than holding a drone in your hand and walking around. Seems Iphone images wont process in the DJI Terra API and its not quite clear why, other than some missing or incorrect EXIF metadata? GPS etc. is all there.
2. Maybe a related problem. How to take 8K DJI drone images and resize them to 2K images and still be able to process via DJI Terra or DJI Terra API. Both refinements on processes that are already working well. We get an error same as above about an incompatible format. Resizing with NCH software that claims and seems to retain all EXIF data still results in the error. Thanks Mark
