I can't agree with anything said in that article. Part 108 has nothing to do with "routine" drone flying. It's a rather long and expansive rule set for starting unmanned drone airlines in the industry, targeting aircraft between 55 and 1,300 lbs, requiring larger crews, SOPs, data collection, maintenance logs, flight logs, restricted access to the ops station, restricted access takeoff and landing areas, and so many other things that individual sUAS pilots currently never have to worry about.
