Importing Photos & Videos

Need some help here. Having no luck with importing both photos and videos from Mini to my iPad. I have the latest iPad 7th Generation with 10.2-inch Retina display . What's the best way to transfer/download/import my photos and videos from my Mavic Mini to my iPad?

use a PC or a Mac .... Ipads arent designed properly to have data transferred to to them unless you buy one of these : Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader — Apple

What I do is connect to the MM with my iPad or iPhone. Then I go to albums in the DJI fly more app and click on the the photo/video I want and then click on the download button. For doing videos it does take time. I set my drone on flat surface so it gets air flow so it does not over heat (I did not do this the first time and had it set on a soft surface then the MM shut down do to being hot). Then I use iMovie for my editing, I am not doing ILM editing, so it works great for me.

Apple USB 3 adapter, power up with Apple lead, plug iPad in and then power on Mini and plug into adapter
