New to Maiv Pro - Do you need a GPS Signal for IMU and Compass calibration. I do NOT have GPS reception in the house.

New to Maiv Pro - Do you need a GPS Signal for IMU and Compass calibration. I do NOT have GPS reception in the house.

You don't need GPS for either compass or IMU calibration.
You can calibrate the IMU indoors but should calibrate the compass outdoors, away from sources of electrical and magnetic interference.

School closed? If you have time and this is a new adventure, lots of good info in the manual. Takes a while to get all the little tricks of the trade in order.
