Greetings from lovely West Cork.
With my beloved Air2, every photograph I took in flight was instantly downloaded to my phone (at full res) via the remote control. Great as I could see them immediately.
I since availed of the 20% discount and upgraded to the Air3. I absolutely love the tele lens and the battery life, but, question, is there any way of also saving the photos while in flight to the RC2, or possibly to my phone via Bluetooth/WiFi? My main fear is always loss of the drone for whatever reason and of course the photographs therein before I can land and have to remove/transfer them from the microSD card.
TIA.

First question is what RC are you using? If you're using one that uses your phone as the display, then getting the data on your phone is straight forward. You can access the aircraft's album mid flight. I've done this to check on what a panorama looked like mid-flight.

If you're using the RC2 with the built in screen, then you can download to the RC and retrieve later, or quick transfer to your phone.

the full sized pictures are stored on the SD card, you can transfer them to the RC2 using the album feature, its self explanatory how to get them from the SD card to the RC2, then follow this thread on how to transfer them to phone via bluetooth, edit, this method stopped working for a while but has been fixed now.

Thanks.
I am indeed using the RC2 with my Air 3, but I was hoping that my in flight photos would be automatically and instantly transmitted to the RC2, as they are from my Air 2 to my phone. It looks like the new system doesn't work that way.
