On a flight yesterday, I had the strangest thing. Flying forward at 200ft, around nothing, the Mavic system alerted a potential collision and stopped, then it cleared, then it happened two more time until I landed.

What's going on? Any idea?

You should also be cleaning off those sensors on a regular basis. Pretty sure that's what was causing my VPS error.

Oh wait, now that you mention it, I was flying back in the sun.

Ok good, it was freaking me out with all the stopping. Especially as I was trying to land with low batt(20%).

Thanks!

Pretty common issue with mavic when facing towards the sun giving false positive to OA sensors.

Nothing you can do to resolve it.

I think you can turn off obstacle avoidance, mid-flight, temporarily, to avoid this. I haven't actually tried that, yet. The setting is the first switch under the Visual Navigation menu.

Yes -- it's possible.
