Increase SD card file numbering?

Is there a way to increase the number? The max file number on the SD card is 0999 and I hate when I am shooting pictures and it goes from 0999 back to 0001. It always creates two folders and import becomes a pain. Is there a fix or is it just the DJI way?

That's how pretty much any DCIM folder works. The only difference I see is that normally the file numbers go from 0000 to 9999 (as opposed to 0000 to 0999 in case of DJI.)

I'm assuming DJI did this so they can continue the file numbers serially in the next folder (from 1000 to 1999). But as your post indicates, they clearly aren't doing that.

I had same problem, thought my file setting was wrong when I realised my photos had started from 0001, but thanks guy's I now realise it is the DJI system.

I was wondering if there was a setting somewhere since my GoPro Hero 5 numbers just keeps going....
