Mavic 3 Pro Numbering Question

Each time I reformat my micro SD card inside the drone it resets the numbering sequence back to 001. Is there a way to turn this off so that the numbering sequence is not reset but continues from where you left off before you reformatted the card?

Delete the files instead of formatting is one way.

Or format the SD card then copy the last image/movie you took back on to the card and it will pick up the numbering where the last one left off (at least that's how my Air 3 is).

All Dji drones do this. As been said, deleting the files does not reset the file numbering, formatting does.

My Mavic 2 Pro does not do this. It is contineous numbering even after in-drone card formatting.

Mine too. It is a choice in the menu between continuous and reset to zero.

It's a Fly app issue, and M2P uses the better GO 4 app.
