Ingenuity - Another Success

Ingenuity performed its third successive flight and landing, this time flying much further and faster.

The craft’s April 25 flight was conducted at speeds and distances beyond what had ever been previously demonstrated, even in testing on Earth.

What distances and flight times are they hoping for and how are the batteries recharged. Are solar panels built in or does it have to return to it's HP station to recharge?

50-metres today (164ft) at 5-metres but they want to push further on the next one. Apparently they are aiming on pushing the limits, even if it crashes, to test what it can and can’t do for a future version of a flying explorer.

Power is now entirely reliant on the solar panel charging and heating the aircraft and batteries.
