Hi fellow pilots
I have an iPad 3 running on iOS 9.3.5 just lying there and I was thinking to use it as screen for the RC. I have installed litchi on it but it won't give me any video feed from the Macic. It just says disconnected. Is my iPad to old ? And yes the side cable is disconnected.

Try a different cable or reverse the lightning end on your cable.

Thanks sonof40 but the iPad uses 16 pin cable not lightning

2 generations too old, the first "full size" iPad to be compatible is the iPad Air. If it's not lightning forget it.

Ok Thanks for the feedback. I guess I'll just have to invest in a new one [emoji6]
