IPad 8th generation (32gb) & Mini2?

Please share your experience using the IPad 8th generation (32 gb) tablet with the Mini2. Do all features all features of the drone and its app work flawlessly with this tablet? How visible is the IPad 8th generation screen in direct sunlight - is the Mini2 app info on the screen recognizible and easy to read outdoors in bright light? Pros and cons of this tablet are appreciated. Thanks.

As with many tablets the newer Ipads still struggle with sunlight screen visibility, so you'll need a hood of some description.

I've been testing the Ipad Air 2020 (4th gen) model with the A14 bionic cpu and it's been flawless with DJI Fly, so I'd recommend this model but the price is getting up there.
