Final outcome, I went and purchased the Tripletek 8 Pro, I am glad that I took the time to look at all the options out there in regards to devices, this is a great piece of kit.

I did the same also after shopping and comparing. It's pre ordered and should ship in a few weeks.

I can buy a real nice drone for that. I bought a used Ipad mini 4 for $180 4 years ago to use with my air 1 never do updates and have had no problems except bad cables.
