iPad mini4 update

I finally received my new iPad mini 4 cellular and the first question is: should I update from IOS 9 to 11 before I download Go 4 or does it matter?

There will be more question as this is my first Apple product. They sure do things different.

I updated to 11 for screen record function that is not on 9
I cant remember what else was updated

Yes I’m running the latest update on my Mini 4 non cellular 128mb . Works great.

iOS 11 did not pose any problems for me on the iPad Mini4.
In any case, I would update the operating system before starting updating any apps.

Using an iPad mini 4 with iOS 11.3 and DJI Go 4.08 without any problems.
